‘1 Rupee’the accurate value they know who can’t have sufficient money to have meal. Who can’t have proper treatment. They say who can’t travel in emergency due to lack of fares. Money, It is a source of luxurious life for rich and it is a minimum need for poor.
We may see in many newspapers that discontinuing of education due to lack of money. If we go to their parents their answer is we can’t expend on them due to our family financial status. In such cases scholarships play a prominent role in their lives to continue education. Many of them know that, from college level scholarships are issued for eligible candidates. But many of them don’t know even from 5th class there scholarship are given for eligible poor people. This is known as Pre-metric scholarship. Which is issued for SC,ST,BC students and this which helps for increase in enrolment.
As many crores of funds are releasing, but due to lack of co-ordination between education and welfare department negligence of Head Masters this scheme is not giving ripen fruits. Only some Head Masters are giving information to the children. Previous year only 64 members. Applied and Rs 53,500 was issued to them.
The process is that from 5th, 8th poor students who are day scholars should apply for scholarship.
Measures to be taken before application:
Apply for Pre-metric scholarship in Telangana and AP at ePass.gov.cgg.in website.
Fill ‘*’ mark details compulsory
Income of parent or guardian should not exceed 2 lakhs for SC,ST and 45 thousand for BC students.
Take your caste, Income certificates by mee seva only.
Remember Application ID number.
Fill up your Aadhar number along with that scan your Aadhar card and upload.
Mention your bank A/C NO. and scan your bank pass book and upload.
After furnishing all the details, take print. Now by print out along with necessary certificates give in the child school.
Necessary Certificates to be furnished:-
Income certificate issued through mee-seva.
Caste certificate issued through mee-seva.
Bonafide certificate issued by head master.
True copy of Aadhar card.
True copy of bank pass book.
After this process. The eligible candidates will get the scholarships.
For SC boys 100/- per month i.e., 1000/- per 10 months.
For SC girls 150/- per month i.e., 1500 per 10 months.
This scholarships will be issued by social welfare department for the eligible students 5th to 8th classes. For the next year students should renewal by the income certificate.
The same amount will be given for the boys and girls of ST by tribal welfare dept.
For SC,ST students of 9th, 10th classes day scholars and hostlers scholarship will be given under the scheme “Rajiv vidya Deevena “ by central govt. Amount is 2,250 (including books). For BC students of 9th, 10th classes scholarship will be given under the scheme “Rajiv vidya Deevena” by central govt. For minority students 1st to 5th class students scholarship will be 1000/- per annum and for 6th to 10th it will be 5000/- per annum. These scholarships will be issued by minority welfare dept.
